So, guys! I’ve got an update and another free printable of my new daily morning routine checklist.
If you’ve been following along on my Instagram, or here, you’ve seen that I started a new morning routine on this week. I am here to report it went quite well and I’m loving the results so far.
I won’t’ lie, it was a bit of a struggle getting up at 5:00 a.m. when my husband gets up for work. But doing it with someone does help! I did pop out the bed at 5:00 a.m. It took a little while to get up but what matters is, I did! I was dressed and showered before 7:00 a.m. each day. Which was great since my little one wakes up between 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. It also knew I needed to track it, instead of tracking it in my planner I posted it to my Insta-story. This was for accountability purposes. I knew if I shared it with everyone, it would push me even harder to get it done and it worked!
WHAT WORKED & WHAT DIDN’T.
Planning a new morning routine doesn’t mean what you plan must go that way. A plan is just that, a plan! An outline of what you want to do. Yes, the goal is to stick to it. However, there is always room for adjustments. Planning is in place to have a road map to your goal. And it’s OK to make changes to that map. As long as you reach your destination in the end.
With that being said, I had to make some adjustments and changes to the printable I made for my planner. I shared it with you lovely readers and planner babes too. But, after going through the process this work week, I learned I need to change up my flow.
So, I’ve made a more functional daily morning routine checklist that you can place in your planner. That way, you can write your own routine down.
I never got around to exercising, so that will definitely be something I have to plan and be prepared for. I also need the motivation! I’m going to focus on setting up my planner to have some more motivational exercise inserts and possibly create a small exercise vision board.
As I said, accountability and having a “wake up partner” was very helpful. If you can find a sleep accountability partner that would be a plus. If you use this printable tag me on Instagram. I’d love to see how you’re using it.
Here’s to happy planning and being more productive!
