Pampering is something a mom rarely does for herself, am I right? Why not gift yourself and another mom in your life something that will keep the pampering happening daily? You won’t be disappointed. This DIY Lavender Body Scrub is quick, simple and inexpensive.
Last year I made a conscious decision of doing better when it comes to skin care. I invested in better skin care products and started exfoliating. Because who wants to carry dead skin around?! The hubby was on board too so that meant the products were going quickly. There are plenty of great recipes out there for making your own body scrubs. I thought I can do that! It also enticed me because most of the recipes involved essential oils. If you haven’t noticed, essential oils have been my jam lately.
I have been on this “spring cleaning” kick for the last two weeks or so. Keeping a house clean is a ton of work. And to think I dream of having a bigger house! Well, that “bigger house” would have to come with a cleaning service because, ay yai yai! I didn’t realize all the tiny little things you forget need a good cleaning every once in a while, like your ceiling and floor air vents! These can get pretty dusty and grimy. If you or your kids have allergies you especially, don’t need any extra dust lying around. Plus, filthy air vents can be a major eyesore.

While I researched all the benefits of essential oils I was sold! I’ve heard of essential oils being super pricey but I found that the Now Foods Essential Oils are quite reasonable. I also learned most natural recipes require only a few drops of essential oil. Therefore, it will go a long way! Also, you can use many of the same essential oils to make several different products/recipes.
